Description
This gorgeous set up features a hand forged ingot naja that rests upon the horses forehead as protection, below a V panel with classic Navajo repousse work. Conchos and brackets in similar design adorn the sides. Braided horsehair reins finish the piece.
This headstall was sold here at Eagle Plume’s around 1970, but before that it was part of the collection here for 20 years. It comes with an undated letter of authenticity signed by Katherine Peshlakai on letterhead of the Continental Trading Post, Gallup NM.
Thanks to Boudreaux of Wind River Ranch, handsome boy!
