1940s Turquoise Cluster Cuff

an early example of a watchband, this turquoise cluster cuff dates to the 1940s or perhaps earlier based on the type of twisted wire base.  Vintage Navajo buttons and a 1944 silver dollar take the place where the watch would fit.  The real beauty of this piece is the age and bright blue turquoise clusters that combine to give this piece that aura of history. a wonderful patina of time and place.
