An iconic squash blossom necklace by Preston Monongye (Misson/adopted Hopi) who was part of a mid-century movement that revolutionized Native Art. Equal in fame to Charles Loloma or Lee Yazzie, Monongye was a trailblazer.
This necklace features a tufa cast naja with a single bright blue set of high-end Morenci Turquoise dangling at center, the beads, blossoms and matching earrings are simple and fabulous. His hallmark is on reverse.
