done by Hopi artist and WWII veteran, Leroy Keywanyama ((b. 1922), this buckle depicts in overlay a stylized quail at right and a fan of feathers at left, each with various geometrics. Circa mid 1960s. We love this. Keywanyama’s jewelry, paintings, and kachina dolls grace many distinguished collections.
